/giphy and Link Previews

Pretty normal for /giphy and chat link previews in general to stop working for a day or 2. But this time has been nearly a week.

I assume it'll eventually come back, maybe in Valve time. But does anyone have any info on the subject?

It's broken for several days. Wonder why nobody reply in your thread. I remember giphy not working for a few hours or a day, but never so long like this.

Just knowing what happened and why might be helpful but all we can do is speculate at t his point. Just a nod that the service is down intentionally is desirable though.
