Steam Deck Question
If I created an account to order a Steam Deck as a (surprise) gift to my son, will the Deck be tied to my account somehow or can he just set it up to his own account? Sorry, not well versed on Steam so greatly appreciate your help.

The Deck is not tied to the account that purchased it. Anyone can use and login into the Deck that you receive.

Same here. On my phone the cart said it would be tied to my account. On my PC no such message. Guess we'll find out.

Only the warranty/repairs/refunds are tied to the purchasing account.
