Workshop page formatting

I see some workshop pages for mods in games I play where the dev has pictures embedded in their page, and some have widgets showing other mods from their workshop directly embedded within their text.

I'd like to do the same in my workshop mod pages, so I can have a widget linking other mods that I developed as a push type advert for my mods. Also it would be nice to embed some pictures of certain features I'm trying to describe to my subscribers.

However I have no idea how to do these links, the best I can do is add a url link using the [url=]blurb[/url] tags but they are just plain boring underlined text links.

I have seen a few posts that say I can just embed an actual url to my other mods which steam will automatically generate a widget for, but that just never happens.

So can anyone tell me how I can embed pictures in my workshop pages, and how I can generate widgets to my other mods?
