Screen-recording software is stopping the game cut-scenes - please help, it's important for me

Hello

I'm using the screen-capture software named Action (from Mirillis company).
I dont want to switch to any other program because I bought a life license for this "Action".

When Action is open (recording, not recording, being open in the background...) then all game cinematics are being skipped in Steam. But when I will switch off the recording program then cinematics are back at once.

I want to record game cinematics too.
Is there any way to have "Action" open and game cut-scenes still be viewed?

Your best bet would be to ask on the programs forum on their official site - they will probably be able to assist you better than anyone on here

Are you sure you don't want to use anything else? Back then, Action! was the best there is and I've been using it a lot myself, preferring it to Fraps & Bandicam.

But nowadays, things are different. There's recording functionality available from every GPU vendor and if that's too mainstream for you OBS is the undisputed king.

If everything will fail I can try OBS or different open-source program. It just I have a economical laptop and I'm affraid those big programs will slow it down to much.

You could just try out OBS and see if your laptop can handle it. If it can't you can still go back to Action or similar software.

I tried, thank you for help. (I need to come back to Action anyway. I guess it's time to invest in new computer...)
