What are the titles of those games that wont install?
What do you mean exactly with "wont install"? Is the button grayed out? Do you get a error message?
Also what are the specifications of your system? CPU, RAM, Graphic Card, Operating System.
The users here are usually very willing to help out with problems like this but they also need the basic info to start searching for a solution.

Thanks for the comments.
My apologies I suffer from brain fog and extreme fatigue, so I didn't craft my OP very well.
There's an error message for each purchase, when I go to install them (after I've clicked on "Install").
I'll try and replicate it tomorrow and get back to you with the exact error message.
This may sound odd, but due to brain fog etc, I've no clue as to the spec of the PC. It's a couple of years old and my memory was so bad, after not using it for many months, I forgot the password. In the 1990s I helped design specific commercial software and was a trainer for specific software etc. My mind is now a blank and I'm having to fill in the gaps again.
The Sims are; three of the Sturmovik titles and Aerofly FS 2 (and a couple of add on airfields).
I hope that helps for now.
Thanks again.
I've taken a screenshot of the error message - how do we upload such on here?
Thanks in advance.

And then just post the link.
But you could also just type out the error message unless its really long.
could you be trying to install the dlc's first?
Hi,
Thanks I don't think so.
I did look at that - but to be fair, I'm flying blind (pun not intended).
I'm clicking on the purchased flight Sims. The error code has changed since yesterday. I'll try and get that on here.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks I'll try and give that a go. The error message is a bit wordy.
I'll be back later.
Cheers!

I did look in Steam Support but couldn't find a specific answer.
Thanks in advance everyone.
Another possibility is if you use a proprietary operating system like apple, some games will refuse to download because of no support for such system.
1. Change download region. It can also be on another continent. Latency is irrelevant for download. If that fails,
2. Relog (log out and back in, clear any saved password if you did) and try again. If that fails,
3. Reinstall Steam. If you have any games installed, make local backups of them using the backup and restore function (Steam -> Backup and Restore Games). NOTE: Do not backup all games all at once. Doing this will glitch out the pregenerated name. Make backup bundles of at most 5 games.

Its usually a cache problem and there are multiple things you can try for it.
I would do that first before doing something drastic like reinstalling the client.
Hi,
It's 64 Bit Windows 10, I've not had any problems, that I can recall, prior Eg when adding to FSX Steam etc.
Thanks for the heads up.
Hi
Thanks.
Can you clarify point 1) please, what do you mean by latency? Also how do I change download region?
I don't save the password for Steam, I've logged in and out twice in past two days, from what I can recall, I'll give it a whirl again though.
Bit daunted by reinstalling Steam etc, I think I'll leave that as a last resort. Thanks for the advice.
All the best.
