Steam games alt-tab lag
Hi! Something I noticed recently is whenever I alt-tab out of a Steam game, my PC becomes incredibly laggy. I've tried switching games between full screen and windowed borderless, but the problem remains. I have also made sure that all of my drivers are up to date.

I've monitored my system and nothing is even close to it's limit, my CPU is usually around 50% and my RAM at 30%. In addition to this, I can run even more demanding games and alt-tab out of them perfectly fine, but as soon as it's a game from Steam the problem occurs. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Specs:
CPU - Intel i7-10700k
Motherboard - MSI MPG Z490
RAM - 32gb DDR4
SSD - Crucial P2 1TB M.2 SSD
GPU - EVGA 3070ti
OS - Windows 10, version 21H1

Don't worry, this kind of alt-tab lag is common.

To improve a little there are some commands or so that this lag time is not so harmful.

Before starting your game, in your Steam library on top of your game with the mouse on top, you right-click and properties and in launch options, you enter this command.

-nod3d9ex1 // Speed up Alt+Tab process, and also disable Direct3D 9Ex technology.

I hope I helped you a little, I know it doesn't improve much, but it helps, there are other methods that help, but it's complex to explain everything in a single text, it would take several minutes to write, but that's it, even I think you know that, but there is nothing to stop this lag.
not a steam games, but those that made on a goldsource and source
with even the most powerful pc server from idk, fbi, will lag like ♥♥♥♥ when alt tab from source game
