I bought a steam game but my steam account has still the restrictions.

As i said i had some money that i had with a gift card , i used them to buy kovaak's ,but my restriction didn't come up at all and i couldn't find any infos about that. i would like some help or at least a way i can contact steam with it.

the restrictions are not lifted instantly. it can take a few hours.

also, if the funds were digitally gifted, they wont count even when spent. all funds must be added directly to the account. the amount spent must be $5 USD or it local equivalent, if the value of your local currency drops vs the USD, then you may get restricted again till its value goes up or you spend enough to get over the $5 USD requirement.

well it's been months that i have the restrictions and i bought a 20 euros gift card wich means it's much larger than 5$ and even that i bought a game with 10 euros wich means still much bigger than 5$ , it has been months also ,and for retriction it's the restictions about spending at least 5$ to buy and sell in the market make group chats etc

The message tells you everything you need to know. You have to spend $5 on steam, and the purchase must be within a 7 day to 1 year period. It doesn't show that you have paid for a game. Have you added money to your steam wallet?

Check your transactions. See if your transaction was valid by steam.

OP how was the funds added to your account that you're posting from? Or are you on wrong account, and forgot you had more than one account you made?


AFAIK you didn't buy a game on account you're posting from, or else you would've got a game badge for that which you do not have.

this is my only account and the funds has been added by gift cards and my last post was taken from this account itself and i made 3 purshases 1 of them was refunded and the 2 others were a game and ingame content.
