Why is my steam only text not normal

When I load up steam it's just text

Like blue text you can click

I tried to fix it on the properties but it just can't

I tried to fix it on the steam files but I'm scared that I might delete something important

How do I fix this?

Restart STeam.

Restart STeam."

So, at the tippy top above where it says:

Store - Library - Community - What

above that you should see:

Steam - View - Friends - Games - Help

Pick "Steam"

then you should see a menu that says:

Change Account - Go Offline - Check for Steam Client Update - Backup and Restore - Setttings - Exit

Pick "Settings"

From Settings you should see:

Account - Family - InGame - Interface - Library - Downloads - Cloud - Music - Broadcasting - Remote Play - Web Browser - Controller - Shader PreCaching

Pick "Web Browser"

Then read down that list on the right and click the "Delete Web Browser Data"

Then pick "OK" to close out of Settings and save changes.

Restart Steam.

Google your GPU model and download the newest drivers.

See if that does anything and then get back to us. Drivers need to be up to date, especially if you have an AMD GPU.

It was moved in 2023 to the "In Game" section of the settings.

This is why old threads are "confusing."
