I prefer to call them Health Points, HP, whatever. It's the same thing. The more damage your character receives, the more hitpoints they lose. Usually you can drink a pot or eat some food or use a skill or spell to restore some or all of your hitpoints (healthpoints). If you lose all of HP, your character dies.

In NA you can buy an upgrade that gives you 50% Hit Points. What does that mean?
