Steam Key activation

Hi together. I have a problem to which I can’t find an answer on Steam, or on the Internet. I bought the game Assetto Corsa Competizione from Instant Gaming this afternoon, activated it directly on Steam and can’t find it in my Steam library. I restarted my PC and Steam itself, but every time I try to activate the game again, since I obviously have not received it yet, there is a message on steam that I have activated it and should actually find it in my library. Heeeelp!!

To get this possibility out of the way: Do you maybe have any filters activated in your library, for example to show only installed games?

No, I don’t have filters or anything like that in my library. the problem is also now a day ago and unfortunately it has not solved itself over time as hoped

With the game not showing in your profile list either, the next obvious question would be: Are you absolutely sure, you were not logged into a different account?

Assetto Corsa is not on the account you posting from
maybe you activated it on a different account

thats the problem, assetto corsa should be on my account already. the other account is from my friend, he buyed the game long before me.

I have meanwhile also written an email to steam, because I believe that it is a system error, otherwise my key would have had to be invalid.

As far as I can tell "Instant Gaming" is not an authorized key reseller, and a quick google search turns up people complainaing about being scammed by the site.

Are you sure the activation actually worked?

I can’t find it under my licenses either. I also know that you can be scammed at instant gaming but so far I had always had positive experiences with it and the keys worked. Usually steam should also show me directly, if a code is invalid. After all, I did not have to pay much for the game if it really should not work after the email to steam. i hope for the best

What was the latest entry on the License page? That should tell you.

These were two different things. I got Race Room for free via steam and Assetto Corsa independently on the same day.

Since Steam does not respond to emails, I'm hoping that you actually mean that you opened a Support ticket.
