How to upload multiple screenshots/pictures in my steam guide?
Trust me, I tried for a while and it really didn't work. I can only select 1 screenshot at a time.
I already know how to create steam guides, however there is one thing nobody could answer me: How can I upload MULTIPLE screenshots or pictures at once to my steam guide. It is so annoying and tedious to select every single screenshot and upload it 1 by 1. Yes, I know Steam warns you that you can only upload 8MB at a time. My screenshots have around 0.8MB each, so why can't I select multiple ones in the Windows Explorer window which opens after I click on uploading files?
Thank you all for helping to solve this:yazdwink:

Use a browser to upload the images, the client doesn't allow multiple uploads

This is not true, it's possible in the client aswell.
It works the same like you can select multiple files in windows.

I'll explain:
1. Just select the first screenshot you want to upload. 2. hold shift while clicking (leftmousebutton) the last image you want to upload. 3. e voilà, you've selected multiple screenshots to upload in the steam client.

Have you actually tried it? It's not possible to select more than one file while editing guides through the client, even holding Ctrl or Shift

You can hold shift and click left mouse button to select multiple screens and upload it.

After you click on your item in the workshop scroll down a bit and on the right side there are many options including adding more pictures.

I saw this post before creating my post. It is not relating to my issue here. We are talking about screenshots/pictures IN A STEAM GUIDE, not somewhere else on steam.
There is nothing with workshop or the screenshot view (which appears after you took a screenshot in-game) whatsoever, please cleary read the topic, "steam guide" nothging else.

Why don't you use the uploaded one's for the guide? Why should it be uploaded exclusively for your guide?
Screenshots which have already been uploaded to your Steam profile can be used by selecting the "Screenshots" tab.

Well that is a more interesting question: So for my Steam guide a have to "spam" a lot of screenshots, which is affecting the quality of my profile. So I only want to have "special" screeshots which show situations of hard and great achievements or special situations in games (the points when I achieved sth great or sth extraordinary happens).
I see no point in having many of those educational screenshots on my profile, which were sololy taken for the purpose of the guide. They are not special and should only serve the guide. So yeah, I use F12 to take them, but no need to upload them, also saving Steam some cloud storage :D :lovecube: :sfsmug:

there is a script and you can upload ~ 50 in one time. there was a nice discussion about this on reddit r/steam last month, you should find it.
