Got a new computer, and all my games that I used to be able to play now show a grey install button.
Pretty self-explanatory, but I have tried everything to fix it. I used to have no problems playing these games but now I can't install them. I have enough storage and have restarted my computer/steam plenty of times. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know

You're probably logged into the wrong account.

Are you sure the operating system meets the minimum requirements for the game?
Considering you only own 7 games, it shouldn't take long to check that.

Check if the ACF files are in the Steam SteamApps, games will appear as uninstalled when appmanifest or ACF files are missing or you have the games on a USB drive and started Steam before plugging in the USB drive. Just plug in USB drive wait 2 minutes.

A grey install button usually means that the game is not compatible with your computer.

I can think of a few possibilities:

1. You had a Windows PC before, and your new computer is a Mac. Most games on Steam are Windows only, so they can't be installed on a Mac

2. You had an older Mac before, and your new computer is a new Mac with an M1 CPU and/or latest OSX. Many Mac games on Steam aren't compatible with the latest Macs.

3. Your new computer is a Windows PC, but for some reason has 32-bit Windows installed. Most new games require 64-bit Windows. This can be fixed by reinstalling Windows, and choosing 64bit this time.

it's also possible if they ported the files over from some USB or something that they can't press the button because they're not logged in to the account that owns the game, but it'll still show up in the library so that you can uninstall it or whatevs. been at least one instance of that. wonder what OP's issue is though since they haven't answered back

What computer have you got? As others have said this is usually caused by your new computer not being compatible with the games. For example the games need a 64 bit version of Windows and yours is 32 bit (unlikely but...) or the games are PC only and you now have a Mac.
