Why not look for a console that has interesting games that you don't already have or could easily get on PC? Serious question.

Well are there games you want on console that are exclusive to any of those? If so I'd buy the one with the most exclusives I'd want. Honestly if you already have a PC then PS5 and Xbox <whatever stupid name they gave it> is kind of redundant. Just buy a Switch for all the Nintendo exclusives and use PC for anything else.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to buy a controller and play the game on PC rather?
Every time I want to play a console game that also exists on PC, I resort to play it on PC with an Xbox Elite controller.

If that's the case then just go for the controller that feels good to your hands, not based on opinion of others. We will always be biased.
