How do I request a receipt with my billing information including name and address?
Hi, does anyone know if I can have a receipt with my billing information including my name and address on it?
My company reimburses gaming expenses, but it requires receipts. The receipts I got only have my steam account ID which I don't want to let my company know, also they don't have billing information on it which making it difficult to apply for a reimbursement.
I want the receipts to only have my billing information, what I bought, and how much I spent.
How can I have that? Been trying to contact support but don't know how.

They don't offer billing information nor real names and addresses in receipts.

When you buy a game an invoice is emailed to you. It has all the relevant information you might need to provide for a reimbursement, including your name and address.

The email receipt is the same one you have in the transaction page. It includes no additional information in the email that the transaction page has.

The transaction receipt contains your full name and billing address!!

OP - go here https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/ - find the purchase and click on it.

From there you can choose to view/print your receipt. This receipt has the purchase, vat information and your billing information.

So if you go to a purchase, click on it and then choose "I would like to view or print the receipt for this purchase" you don't see the billing address that you had to give when you made the purchase? Sounds quite silly that they'd limit the visibility based on location.

It looks identical in every way to the email.

It might be something to do with reclaiming VAT, HMRC expect the invoice to be addressed to the business, so including the address in the receipt would cover that. Not sure how many people are buying game through Steam for business purposes though.
