What Resolution is your Monitor?
What is the specific youtube video you're referring to?
the reason I ask is the tendency for people to decide something is almost the same, and are willing to ignore all the differences even if they're significant.
If the systems are the same, are you running the game in the identical configuration? Little differences can add up. If they're not the same, lets consider the differences instead of ignoring them.
There's lots of games I can run a 144FPS or 40FPS depending on the graphics configuration in the game. Which is why I feel your post is missing details.
How much system have? Not VRAM actual RAM.
When you're comparing video to your system, what settings were they using compare to you? What hardware they're using compare to you? And lastly what version of the game they were using compare to you? As those three key factors actually matters.
If CPU the bottleneck that be reason why not getting FPS you think, if game newer version became more hardware heavy that be something to consider as we.
Edit: Laptop? Are you sure it’s using the 3070?
So keep in mind normally desktop have more performance due to not having to limit themseleves due to heating issues, and such that some laptops have, and depending on them how they made the laptop they could also limit some performance when not plugin to outlet for extra power to supply to GPU.
So depending what you're comparing the video to, it ideal to compare laptop to laptop, rather than laptop to desktop, as desktop have better cooling, no power restrictions, and so on.
If don't mine me asking what video were you comparing your laptop to?
