It takes about 2 weeks for games you've played in the last two weeks to stop showing the amount of time you've played.

How long does it take for the games to simply disappear out of your Recently Played?

Is it a month or two?

If I stuck to playing nothing but Rimworld how long will it take tell my Recently Played only shows Rimworld?

Yes but I've got games in it from two weeks ago that just says

You'll need to help us clear things up a little bit. Where are you referring to the recently played list?

Are you referring to Recently Played With in the Friends section, or are you referring to Forums for your recent games or are you referring to the Recent Activity on profile page?

If it's the Recent Activity then it won't clear itself, you have to manually hide it if you wish it to not show anymore.
You do that by going to Edit Profile then Privacy Settings and you can configure to your liking under Game Details settings in there.

This will hide Recent Activity in your profile from everyone as well as hide any total time played in your profile's Games list from other users.

When I look at my profile I see a link at the bottom that is called View All Recently Played and it shows the list of game's I have played.

I get after two weeks it no longer will say 13.9 hrs last two weeks.

But I am wondering how long does it take for the list of games I've recently played gets cleared.

Oh that one! I have been completely oblivious of that page, my apologies.
I'm afraid that I have no idea how long it takes for that list to clear its backlog, so I don't dare to say.
If nobody is able to answer this then you could do a little experiment and see for yourself.

Drop a visit each day and see when it starts to ditch the oldest game in the list.

I have a game there that I haven't played for three weeks, we'll see what happens next week when a month passes.

My friend he played 7 Days To Die for like a month straight and then he stopped playing all together.

I watched as it said how many hours in the last two weeks to simply how many hours on record.

and now his Recently Played is gone and all it shows is his All Games.

Yea I think I will do that.

I'll play something I might not play again for a long time then write down when i played it. Then when the last two weeks message disappears right up too when the game disappears from the list.

Hai! I come bearing updates! The oldest game in my recently played list has finally vanished.

I played the game on may 28th, 8:05am (GMT +1), and the game finally disappeared today at june 27th, 8:05am.

So it seems that games stays idle on recently played list for exactly 30 days.

I last played Rimworld on June 23rd and it has dropped down to 1.1 hrs last two weeks from when it was 10.4 hrs last two weeks a few weeks ago so in less then a hour it will no longer say last two weeks.

If you are correct Carolynne If I don't play Rimworld for about 1 - 2 months it should completely vanish from my recently played list.

So If that is right If I log off Steam for about 2 months my recently played list should completely clear.

Or If I simply stick to one game for a month or so.

Mathematically, your Rimworld should disappear from Recently Played on july 23rd, which is just shy over two weeks from now (unless you relaunch it, which happens so easily, that game is fantastic and I'm in it!).

I played another game during june 5th that vanished on july 5th. It's definitive, takes 14 days to clear from two weeks mark (obviously) and 30 days to completely clear from the list.

Your entire recently played list should be empty 30 days after latest game you played if you do not touch your library during that time. So no later than august 6th it should be all blank!

Been over year late now but I got 5 games in my recently played, 2 of them I played in August and they didnt disappear until now while we are having f ukin november already lol
Must be new UI's fault or some ♥♥♥♥
