two characters per ps4 controller glitch (Gang Beasts and Overcooked)

So my mates and I got Gang Beasts and Overcooked. For some reason, whenever we join a controller, it generates 2 players. For example: 3 ps4 controllers were joined in Gang Beasts, but there are 6 registered players for some reason. Each controller controls two characters in game and its just annoying. Same thing happens for Overcooked

Are you using any XInput emulation through a program such as DS4Windows or InputMapper? If so, that may be causing some issues depending on settings for those programs. Gang Beasts, at least, is compatible with the DS4 controller without any extra software.

I am using DS4Windows. What do you mean about the Gang Beasts one? Do you mean that I don't need DS4Windows to play it with my ps4 controllers?
