Screen tearing when 2 monitors is hooked up
Have a new monitor to accompany my old benq for a dual monitor setup.

However, the problem is that the new monitor have screen tearings once in a while whenever im on the desktop, surfing chrome etc. but not in games.
The tearing do stop whenever I disable the other monitor. But I want the 2 to work nice when I do desktop work aswell :(

My new monitor is a 144hz acer and the old is a 60hz benq

spec
i7-6700k
gtx 1070
16gb ram
750W psu

I appreciate any idéas

Are they setup for Duplicate or Extend ?
Try Extend and then set each Display to its own Res + Refresh

This is why it's better idea to use Displays with same specs.

open nvidia control panel -> manage 3d settings -> global -> vsync = on

if that does not do it, program settings tab -> add -> browse -> c:\windows\explorer.exe
vsync = on
or add browser if that is giving problems

Some Nvidia Global settings are messed up in default. Remember this fact.
