How do I turn off autoplay videos for the Steam Program?
Every time I go to certain game pages on Steam the video doesn't work and I can't leave the page or click anything on it. Is there a way to turn off the autoplay? And no I can't click pause, it won't let me click anything. And I am refering to the Steam Program, not Steam on the web.

If you hover over the video, a navigation bar will appear with a box titled "Autoplay videos". Remove the tick from that box. On Greenlight pages, there is a cog icon that when clicked, will allow you to disable autoplay.

I want a global setting... I don't want to "hover over" each individual videos.

Low bandwidth.. don't want to see anything I don't choose to play first.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks for the tip 765 but that doesn't work for me.
Hovering over a video does nothing.

All videos has a user interface, if you can't see it then click the video to pause/play it, once you've done that it'll appear a user interface, in there you'll see an option with a box that is ticked by default saying "autoplay videos".

Untick that box and all videos won't autoplay, next time you visit a store page the previews will go straight to screenshots, skipping videos.

Hovering over the video that is playing and ticking the "Don't auto play..." is the global setting as long as you don't delete Steam's cookies.
