Can hear friend's discord voice chat through steam streaming?!

My friend had found a fix to the steam broadcasting sound issue, but now I can hear whatever he hears from our call. I can hear myself, and anyone else who talks a few seconds after we say it. It's obviously on his end, but I'm not sure what he did to fix the sound issue, and it's causing a whole heap of confusion since I watch him play and talk to our peeps/converse important information. He had said he checked a box to fix the sound, but I'm thinking he's gon have to go through his discord to stop streaming/video recording vc, if there's even an option to do that.

Not sure but have your friend check in recording devices>if the listen to this device is ticked.
Using one mic will pickup the sounds from everyone and everything. Maybe have him turn off the speakers?

i have the same problem, its that that your friends steam stream is picking up all the sounds from his computer including your discord converstation so in order to fix it you would need the steam stream to be ignoring the discord sound, but i am not sure how to do that, if you have any idea tell me.
