MGR Revengeance Region lock questions

Do global keys work if i wanted to buy this game? Steam Database says its legit banned in all our Southeast Asian countries. I think Cross region gift and trading also restricted.

But if I bought a global/worldwide key for the game and activate it would it work? Is there any way I can get the game legally

Yee, stupid move on my part. Just desperate for info I guess. Never know if gifting don't work but keys work. What if the game cant be bought here but can be played here yknow.

Games that are banned by law are usually geolocked in those regions, so even if you buy a global key, if you IP address matches those on the banned list you will be prevented from launching the game.
