Log in Issues after most recent update.

After logging out of my account on the desktop app... Everytime I attempt to log back in on this account or other accounts on the app it hits me with:
ERROR

Something went wrong while attempting to sign you in. Please try again later.

ERROR Code: 122

Now, This only started happening after I updated my steam and I have waited a couple of hours but still not allowing me to login. I can login on the browser or phone app just fine.

Having the same issue! Can login on mobile and on web, but on the desktop app trying to sign in any account results in that.

I have been able to log in on another computer so it seems to me that the steam beta might be making it unable to log in.

Same issue, can log in via browser but App doesn't work Error Code: e84

I have the same issue. Steam updates and restarts, tells me to login. I get the Steam Guard page, get sent a Code. I type it in, then I get the error code 122. I can however login through the webpage. This is really strange.
Glad I am not the only one.

Same, the update this week complete broke my client so I re-installed it and now it's just not letting me login at all. Super frustrating.

Same here. Web login with 2FA fine. New client on PC... fail.. multiple times

Same. Web login and steam deck seem fine. PC client just looping forever with error 122.

Same problem here, can't log in same error code.

Just to add detail - I turned my PC on, opened Steam - it auto updated - I noticed it was a new login page - log in - it acts like it's a new PC and sends the code to my email, I do the code, then it "logs in" and gives me the error screen and "error code:122"

I've restarted my PC, I've hard killed Steam from Task Manager and tried again. Just to test it I tried putting in the wrong password to see if it gave a different result - it did give an incorrect password/username messaged when I tried that - so it is seeing my correct login credentials. Verified I can log in on the web browser(I am as I type). Can log into other services just fine from RIVAL PLATFORMS... So may I ask that Valve fix this or revert it or whatever - just let me play the games I PAID FOR please.

yes, same. after i updating DOTA, my synchronization error and when in game still restoring server. so i am pressing the sync steam then suddenly steam want me to restart steam then restart steam which pop up i click it then different face steam log in show up like bigger type, i think its new but when i log in with my 2 account its the same "something went wrong while attempting to sign you in. Please try again later." in the bottom says "Error code: 122"

is steam know that i just play game all day and make to stop it then retired to play DOTA? if yes, thank you steam, you know better than play your game
