Save file location on disc

Is there a way to find out where save files for each game on Steam has been stored? I need to know so I can make back ups of them.

PC gaming wiki is also a great site to find out where games keep their save location, just search the game on the site and look under "save game location"

Some games keep saves in %ProgramData% or even user documents folder.

No. Most games do not even use the Steam folder for savegames.
