Jagged Edges / Pixelated Image
Whenever I start a game it seems my monitor just lowers its pixel count and makes edges seem jagged and pixelated. With steam I can open the steam interface while in game with Shift+tab and the letters and images on the steam interface also seem jagged and pixelated but when I still have my game running and go to my desktop screen (Alt+tab), the same steam interface is no longer jagged, it becomes smooth as it was before. I dont know why its happening this has been the case for a few days now.

Make sure the game's running at your monitor's native resolution.

Well my monitor is set at the same resolution as the games and at 144Hz, for some reason sometimes it just becomes smooth with some games but with CSGO for example, its always jagged edges.

Refresh rate has nothing do wo with jagged edges or not.

What monitor do you have and what resolution do you use?

I had that same problem about a year ago and my graphic card was broken.

I have a Philips PHL 242E1GJ and I use 1920x1080.
But I never had issues before, I recently moved my PC to another room and disconnected and reconnected all cables and seems that since then I have had this issue, so I checked all cables and made sure theyre dust free and well connected but theyre okay.

Okay so I seemed to have found a solution but not an actual fix. Seeing as my jagged edges disappear when I Alt+Tab out, I decided to try the game in windowed mode and voila my jagged edges disappear in game.

Now I can just play on Windowed Fullscreen and I dont see any annoying jagged edges but if anyone knows why it has that issue in Fullscreen please let me know.

Thanks

Make sure you've reconnected your GPU cables - it's possible the games are running off the integrated GPU instead for this to happen.

You mean the integrated GPU inside the CPU? I highly doubt it as my video memory shown in settings is 4gb and my games run the same as they did before on the same settings.
