Activate a product on steam will not open

So I open steam. I click on "Games". The drop down menu opens. I click on "Activate a product on steam...". Nothing happens. The window that would usually pop up and allow me to enter a code doesn't pop up. In the past it has worked just fine and I have redeemed several game codes with no problem. Am I doing something wrong?

There is a known bug after the UI update that broke the Add A Game in the bottom left.

I know this is old, but I had this same issue. I just went to the steam tab, settings, and downloads, where I then cleared the cache and after logging back in it worked fine again. So anyone with that issue now and find this thread like I did then you might wanna try that. If that doesn't work then def just use the link given above.

Also sorry if what I said didn't make too much sense, but try clearing the Steam cache and see if that works.
