So, yes, when you made a purchase in the other region, the timer reset. It's done to stop people abusing regional pricing.
But I made a purchase from a steam account while in Thailand. I can't top up my account in the same currency. I will be here for another year and I will be able to make purchases only after 3 months?
I have never changed the region before.
"If you have recently moved, you should be able to update your Store Country using an alternate payment method registered to your new location.
Unfortunately, Steam Support cannot adjust your Steam Store Country and you will not be able to use your recent payment method to update your Store Country.
Otherwise, you can look for Steam-compatible CD Keys and/or Steam Wallet Codes at a store that directly serves your region.
As this is all the information we can provide about this purchase restriction, I will be closing this help request.
If you have any other issues with Steam, you are welcome to open a new ticket."
These are just general phrases that don't help in any way in my situation. to use other replenishment options, I need another document. the simplest is a driver's license to a bike or a car.
Note there's part of the system that Support have no control over and they cannot change or alter those settings.
It's how the system works. Also, it's server side, how would resetting their PC change their location?
maybe it should take some time after that purchase in another currency before I can buy in baht.
Each time you change it, 3 month cooldown..
As I found out, I need a new bank card to change the region on one account. Although I have not found this information anywhere in the steam guides. And even tech support didn't write about it. Which is strange really. It turns out if someone has several children, then each of them needs their own card, lol.
Did you read the requirements on this page?

Have you changed the region before? It's just that this is my first time when I moved to another country and there should be no cooldown.
Oh, come on, I've read everything I can on this topic.
