Locked out because Steam not sending codes
This is insane. No matter how many times I try, Steam will not send steamguard codes to my email. I tried to create a support ticket, but that requires a code sent to my email, which never arrives. I tried turning off steamguard verification in my account, but that requires another email code, which never arrives. I checked my junk mail folder. I added the Steam noreply and support email address to my accepted contacts. No code. I used to get codes just fine, and now nothing. My account phone number is out of date, so I want to change that, but that requires an email code! Can someone at steam please read this and help? There is no contact information for Steam anywhere online.

Not in spam
Steam support in accepted email contacts
Codes worked before, email is correct.
Support ticket requires code to report no code, but code is never sent.
Installed phone app, but that requires code to confirm log in.
Tried to turn off steamguard in account, but that requires code.
No contact info for Steam or Valve anywhere.

Go to support they answer within 48 hours, I don't know why people say they don't, when they've answered and replied several of my emails.

Yes, support answer within 48 hours. But it may be that your Steam-download or Steam-framework is not sending the code to your email due to the Windows (11) 'bug'.

I tried to contact support by starting a ticket. In order to start the ticket, Steam requires a code. Steam never sends me the code. How do report this no-code problem when reporting it requires a code? YES I CHECKED MY SPAM. I tried to turn off Steamguard in account settings so codes are no longer needed. Turning off Steamguard requires a code.

Does anyone have any personal contact leads at Steam or Valve? I need to reach human being. They purposefully scrubbed all contact info from Internet.

There is only the ticket system.

Looking at your post history, you should do troubleshooting on your computer. It's not a "Steam" but, there is something on or in your computer going wrong and for example Steam and Galaga are merely symptoms of that, not the cause.

Can some Good Samaritan start a support ticket on my behalf? Tell them to contact phillparker account email. I need a code to report no codes to Steam support and that is impossible for me. Old phone number in my account is outdated. Tried to change. Guess what? That requires a code.

You have to open the Steam ticket. :steammocking:

Codes used to arrive no problem. Made no changes to system or account. Checked spam. Verified both Steam support emails are accepted contacts. Sent test email to self to verify email works. Tried all steps on old PC, new PC, and phone. No codes. Steam is not sending me codes, period.

1. Tried to open ticket. That needs code to send. No code.
2. Tried to change outdated phone to new number. That needs code. No code.
3. Tried to log in on phone with Steam app. That needs code. No code.
4. Tried to log in on new PC after installing Steam. Logging in needs code. No code.
5. Tried to turn off Steamguard codes in account settings using old PC. That needs code. No code.
6. I checked spam. No code.
7. I verified email accepts Steam support emails. No code.
8. Looked for Steam and Valve contact info to escape this endless trap. No info.

I need help. Can someone please start support ticket on my behalf? Tell them to contact phillparker account owner.

I have no idea how to hack stranger account if actual human from Steam support contacts me based on tip from good Samaritan. I don't even need to know your ID. Just copy and paste this post into ticket and say, "phillparker needs help." Hacking impossible.

Oh FFS. I tried to change email as workaround using only logged in connection (Steam client on old PC). It sent code to new email (FINALLY!), I used that, and Steam client says Captcha not working, try again. The Steam client does not have Captcha. That only works in browsers, not client. Of course, cant change email in browsers because need to log in first using... Steamguard code.

At least this confirms that Steam is indeed sending codes to people, just not to my Steam account email. So the problem must be at my end. After I already went into Outlook and manually added both noreply@steampowered.com and support@steampowered.com addresses to list of accepted senders.

I am so pissed right now I want to throw old and new computer and stupid phone out window and jump after them, but that is not healthy, so I'm going to get drunk. Rage drinking. Woo!
