I have 3 hours playtime on steam for WW3, but 2.5 hours was loading and game crashing, but steam won't refund
I bought the game once during launch and it would not load up, was like that for 2 hours, and I got it again today and tried to play but it got stuck and crashed my computer yet still counted as running time, and now steam won't refund the game cause it's barely above 2 hours. What should I do? I practically cannot play the game and can't even contact steam in any other way

If they say no, there's nothing you can really do.

They can't differentiate what you spent that 3 hours on.

When requesting a refund you will have a box to put in your reason for refund.

You already did contact them, all refund requests are processed by a human.

It's all a matter of perspective.

its simple , if a game doesnt run , dont try to fix it for the devs that asked money for it
just quit and refund immediantly

Sometimes it can be the user end for not having the needed drivers install to run the game in the 1st place, there kind a lot of them across all various game discussions.

But in this case it's their call since he out of the 2hrs limit, and he can only try again in hopes they appove of it, if not then nothing can be done, but I hope OP doesn't try to do a chrage back as OP may face problems later on.

i got a refund on cod ww2 on launch with 4 hours , simply because the servers crashed when it launched in the usa

its not like steam doesnt offer refunds over the time , but if you just say "game didnt run" why waste time trying to fix it , its the same if you have to return a faulty product , do it as soon as possible

even if you want to fix it yourself , set a timer for 1 and a half hour , afterwards just quit the game , if you couldnt get it to run refund , if it was boring refund

Pretty much. I don't expect all games to work fine out of the box, some may have problems such as some older games, and visitng the forums asking for help, or checking the game guide to see if there's an answer.

I believe devs should come back to their games to fix their mistakes, instead of the community having to do it, but not much can be said since this is how the way things are for the longest time.
