Steam friend list bug (?)
I can't see all my friends in the game library. For example when I click the dota 2 in game library, it does not show all of my friends who are currently playing dota 2 but when I click the friends list or start the game, it shows there that they are playing. Is it a bug or something with the client?

I think that’s normal. I if you have a large list of friends who play DOTA2, it usually will not show the entire list of people on your friends list who play it in the main Steam UI. From what I can recall it usually only shows people who own it, and who have actively recently played it below that.

Please do not quote me on this. I am sure someone will be kind enough to correct me if I am wrong.

But it also happens with games like warframe, csgo and such that i don't have a large lists of friends who play it

I think you misunderstood it, sort of. Some of my friends who own the game and even recently played or currently playing is not appearing in the friend list when clicking the game in the steam library. However I can only see them in the friends lists, the pop-up friend list thingy, that they are really playing the game. But i can't see them playing when i go to my steam game library
