Any way to disable coupons?

I never use them, because I have alot of games in my library from humble bundles I get them daily and find them just a bit of an annoyance. Is there any way to disable receiving them? or just a way to disable notifications for receiving them?

I'm afraid that the answer to both questions is no. There are coupon dumpsters that will happily take the coupons off your hands if you just want rid of them and they will pass them on to people who do want them or just store them until they eventually expire. I'll post the links to two of them in a moment.

It'd be so nice if we had an option to opt out.

I personally wouldn't use it because they don't bother me, but man... more options Valve.

Developers issue them to users that own some of their titles.

The demand for coupons is drastically reduced because they expire after a certain time-period.

This alludes to the fact that their worth may not be as significant.

Long story short, I'd happily accept an 'opt out option'.
