'Friends Who Play' Library section GONE

does anyone know how to fix and bring back the 'Friends Who Play' section from the Steam Library when viewing a game and 1 or multiple friends have it and if played recently?

I think its been going on for a few weeks or just this week (for me as far as Im aware), but whenever I click games I know other people have or some people are playing right then the FWP section shows up for the quickest second then disappears instantly, I scroll down to see if its moved and Ive checked library and Steam settings but cant find where to bring it back. Its annoying and I want to see the list again

sense remote play is seen as own location with own gear afaik.

read rules, just because i dont use it, afaik, 1 user only per game. and if you activate it you kick them out.

this isnt a family sharing problem. Its one of the UI's in your steam library. you know how if you have the same game as some friends and at the far right below the game picture you see your friends that "played recently" then under it is "friends who played in past 2 weeks" then if you click it you can see other option like people who played it long ago or have in their library?

I have the same issue, not only this section is gone in my Library, but also on the store page of a game I know some of my friends have or have on wishlist, I cannot see the section telling which of my friends own or have the game on their wishlist.

XD I kinda forgot about this, yeah if you get this problem it takes time to come back. It took about a month for it to come back for me which sucked

I'm having the issue rn as well, did it just resolve overtime? it's gone for me for some week or two now

yeah it will resolve overtime. I think its different for everybody, I saw someone say it took a week(but might've been different issue cause when I had it, I couldn't find anything about this issue, seemed like no one had it so I had to be the first to start the actual discussion XD), for me it took about a month and a half

resolve over time means...!!!???'''""":::;;; it will fix itself and you just have to wait painfully until it does(unless its not that painful for you, more of an annoyance. It was painful for me), im pretty sure its different for everyone, for me it took about a month and a half until it came back.

It probably is a website/app bug, I never found a way around it or how to fix it during, when it happened. Also when it happened to me, there was no/very very hard to find answers or discussions about this topic cause no one really did, then I made this discussion thread with the answer to help.

also having this issue, same behavior as you. it appears for a brief moment and then disappears when the game finishes loading in.

Dang, that sucks. but the good thing is It will/should fix itself soon (the good actual soon maybe month or 2 wait and not the 6-12 months later EA "soon")
Yeah it would tease me like that once in a while, especially mid way through of it coming back. First time I clicked on a game in the library, it would show the list of friends for a quick second and then would disappear right away

Same problem now. I do not even have a section for a short time. All my many friends don't have this problem.

yeah that was on and off for me, sometimes it would show for a quick second (if I was lucky to get the tease, which gave hope that it was a bug/glitch with Steam) and sometimes it wouldnt even pop up and I would drown in the sorrows of Hell fully knowing and confirming that it was never coming back and getting removed... but then it came back after time and got fixed

your "Friends" XD (sry) dont get affected, or it could be possible the problem happens to them at the same time as you too, but its just your own account thats affected for awhile. I checked my brother's account while this was happening to me and his wasnt affected, he was lucky being able to see all his friends listed while I wasnt and had to suffer horribly; Who knows, maybe it wasnt a glitch and all my friends did leave/ghost me which is why I couldnt see them
