Find where all of that data is. Keep in mind unfinished Steam downloads do take disk space until fully complete unless deleted.
It's your system, you admin it, stop treating it like an unsolved mystery... so stuff is taking up space? Ok, figure out what it is and deal with it.
press windows key + i, search Storage Settings, click on wherever the GB is being used, like "other" and it'll show you what folders are taking up that much space.
While I understand that I an the admin of my machine, I have come to the conclusion that there is no one file or "small" number of files that is causing all of this less than opportune happenstance. The fact of the matter is, there are probably a vast number of small files causing this issue. As I'm sure you all have gotten out of grade school, you may know that, 200 gigabytes is roughly equivalent to 200,000 megabytes. oftentimes, downloaded files are 2-3 megabytes in size, therefore, if on average, each file is 2.5 megabytes in size, then, logically speaking, there are 80,000 files causing this blockage. I don't know about you, but id rather not waste hours of my time scouring my system to find downwards of 80,000 files.
Use the right tool for the job, and maybe the job isn't quite so impossible as you imagine. Your choice.
Ah, My apologies, I was unaware of the age of the post, and I was quite fed up with the whole, hard disk is full shebang, sorry if i appeared hostile in any way shape or form.
