Can i activate the steam key buying from third party website which is not available in my country but the third party providing global activation key ?

So i want to buy prototype 2 but unfortunately it is not available on steam but the third party website is ready to provide global key (kinguin or G2A) but i am really worried if that key will activate or not please i wanna know or will i get ban if i activate that ??

Kinguin & G2A is not an approved seller and they rely on resellers. You won't know if the key you receive is legit. You could receive a fake, invalid or stolen key. A publisher could also revoke your game if you use a key from an unapproved seller, especially if the key is deemed stolen or obtained through fraudulent means. Some of these sites also been accused of credit card theft. I strongly discourage using Kinguin or G2A.

You can buy keys from Humble Bundle, Greenmangaming, or Fanatical since those are generally approved sellers.

You probably will not get banned for using a third party key, but you still would be taking a risk of your money. Also, just because the sites advertise keys as "Globel" does not mean it will activate in your country, as resellers often false advertise. Save your money. You probably won't get a good key if Activision is not selling Prototype 2 in your country.

But the website u have suggested any of those did not have prototype 2 or even 1 can u suggest a good website for that game

but the thing is i have purchased far cry 6 , assassins creed valhalla , gta 5 , battlefield 2042 all keys activated in my library easily and yesterday i purchased metal gear rising revegeance steam key and activated properly

That doesn't mean there aren't a lot of scammers on those websites. You're just lucky you haven't run into one yet.

If you get a fake or stolen key, they'll send you on a wild goose chase to avoid giving you a refund.

Give it a shot, just make sure it's a global key that you're getting, not region locked.

If want key from a official retailer that deals directly with game devs, and publisher, there gameplanet that currently selling a key for it.
