I still can't change my region
I moved to Thailand on June 6, but I still can't change my region. I've never changed the region before, so it's very strange.

I have a Kasikornbank (KBank) bank card, but every time I try to buy a game, the error "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed." I live with my boyfriend and he was able to change the region without such problems. Two weeks ago, I made a purchase from a steam wallet in the old currency. Could this be the reason?

I have already contacted technical support, but they all answer the same thing as bots and do not help in any way.

I looked at your account and it seems that you are attempting to use a payment method registered outside your current region.

Please be advised that purchases made through Steam must be made in the region you are physically located and using a payment method associated with a local address. Kindly try an alternate payment method to continue purchasing.

If you have recently moved, you should be able to update your Store Country using an alternate payment method registered to your new location.

Unfortunately, Steam Support cannot adjust your Steam Store Country and you will not be able to use your recent payment method to update your Store Country.

Otherwise, you can look for Steam-compatible CD Keys and/or Steam Wallet Codes at a store that directly serves your region.

Do you happen to have an old payment that's still associated with the account?

Under the Wallet Balance on this page, if there is a payment method there delete it.

When I try to repeat a purchase from a saved shopping cart, an error appears:
"OOPS, SORRY!
An error was encountered while processing your request:

Your store region has changed since this purchase was originally attempted. This saved cart cannot be repurchased in your current region."

What's wrong with this steam!?

yep... It's so complicated.
I just want to get away from this horror, buy games and relax, but even with a bank card I can't do anything.

Do you get the option to change country when you add the new funding source as thats where you change the region

yes, when buying, I have the option to change the country to Thailand, but then an error occurs when buying.

I've tried several times already. I've been writing to tech support for 4 days. I tried to buy different games, but nothing helps.

I do not know what the problem may be. Are there any restrictions on the purchase? maybe I can't play anything at all to change the region? or does it depend on the linked mail? or is it because of the steam guard? What am I doing wrong?

I think that is the problem, as far as i know nearly all Steam functions are disabled for Russian accounts right now, that includes making payments.
So if you try to switch account by making a payment the system sees that you are on a Russian account and automatically shuts the process down.
You can basically just play your existing games and thats it as a Russian user.

Dont think you can do much more then waiting till the current lunacy in Ukraine is resolved and the sanctions are lifted. But that could be many years if we are honest.

Another option could be to make a brand new account in Thailand with the Thai payment method.
That should not be a problem. Then activate Steam Family Share from your Russian account to the Thai account.
That way you would not lose any games ( except those excluded from Family Share) and could buy stuff on the new main Thai account.

This text, from the message you received from Steam, makes me think your bank card has been blocked by Steam.
