Steam Accound blocked
Hello,

my teenage son deleted his Gmail account. The problem: his accounts on Steam, Switch and PS-Network are linked to his deleted Gmail account (restaration of gmail account is not possible, as it happend some time ago already). Right now, he is already unable to reach his Steam-Games, because Steam is asking for a verfication-code it is sending to his deleted Gmail-account. Any major changes to Switch and PSN account would trigger similar problems - so I can't even change the mails in these account. My question: any ideas how to fix this huge mess? Can I contact someone in Valve-Support to change the mail of my sons Account without the verification being sent to the old, deleted gmail-account?

Start a recovery process. Don't claim anything, simply start the recovery process.

Have your son read all instructions not just the ones above a form/button.

Hi Cathulu, The issues listed there do not fit my problem: it is the mail-account, not the mobile autentificator, that is not accessible. his account wasn't stolen, I know the name of the account and the password. So, it is an unusall case, mare than 200 Games are blocked du eto my son deleting his gmail account a few weeks ago. He can not access steam at all. There must be a solution for that, I guess.

if you know the account name and password you should be able to log into the account even without email access tho??

Unless Steam Guard is trying to send something to the email address to verify a new login location or something...

In which case it is a bit like having a "stolen" account. Do the recovery process, prove the account is yours (or your son's) by providing whatever information Steam Support asks for. If you can do that then you will be able to log in and change the email to an email account your son still has access to?

It's a usual case with the usual answer: try to log in. If Steam wants something you don't have, click "i don't have it". If not, you'll log in just fine.

Is phone number attached to the account?
Is there any device that has still access to the account?
Both ways could be used to change the email in the end.

One should never delete an email account. For various reasons.

Do not insert things that did not happen.
