Is there any way to remove the "Favorites" collection?

I personally do not use the collection. It is empty for me, but it isn't disappearing.

I have found that if I right click a category, I can either rename or remove the category, which works fine for other categories, except it doesn't work for the "Favorites" category.

Is there any way to delete the category, or, at the least, hide it?

Am I just missing something?

You can just make it empty and it will no longer show up, i just tried it and it woked. do you maybe have some hidden games you have flagged as favorites?

I've gone through all my hidden games, and none of them are in my favorites list

there is no "fix" working as intended. you dont want to use favourites just dont use it lul. its not like its taking up space

it is when you want a collections shelf to show and your first collection is a blank/empty tile that says Favorites (0)

alas the actual issue.

sure would be nice if they added auto-hide for empty shelves/collections on the home-page especially when you show only local/installed game. thats a solid request for the suggestion box.

they are not going to remove favourites.

in the meantime you could set one game as favourite solely so the tile is not blank :)

It seems all new games I add automatically become part of the Favorites folder, even if I don't want them to. I have my own lists and do not use the FAVORITES, yet it always fills up and opens all by itself ALL THE TIME. How to remove the favorites folder altogether would be great.
