Reinstalling Windows 10 - question with game storage
I'm planning to clean reinstall Windows 10 on my SSD drive. I know I'll need to reinstall all my apps and I'm fine with that.
I have Steam on the SSD, but my game storage is on a separate drive I use for data. Is there anything I'll need to watch out for? Any tips?

Nope. You're all good to go. A fresh install only wipes the C drive, dude. When you do the fresh install though and redownload steam, it wont show installed games, so go to [settings],[downloads] and click up the top "steam library folders" and just add your SSDs back in. I've reinstalled windows a few times now. As long as none of your steam games are on the c drive (the OS drive) you're absolutely safe.

Many thanks! The games themselves aren't on the SSD (separate drive) but I get your point.

backup your save games if you want to keep them
different games save in different locations
like C:\users\username....

Keep Steam & the games together on the HDD. I've moved my Steam install couple times, reset my system due to Windows 10 betas a couple times more, no issues.
... save for KF2 I keep on my SSD for loading time reasons (they're stupidly long). That I had to "reinstall" on some occasions.
