How to run Steam on school network ?
so before u say that school is not the best place to play games ... well i use a lot Blender 3D and Krita and would like to launch them via steam at school, but the problem is that when i try to connect my account from school network it works 1/20 times, i noticed that whenever i re plug the RJ45 it has higher chances to log in successfully.
So do you know a way to log in without spending 5-10 minutes putting steam guard code and sometimes at the end ... too many login failures wait time.
EDIT:heres some info that maybe can help :
- when i remove the S from HttpS in blocked sites in 99% cases it works.
- Opera built in VPN dont work, webpages just wont load

There isn't if the people working at your school are competent.

No one here knows how the network is set up. Physical and logical topology, ACLs and so on.
So, no we can not help you. We can do useless guessing if you'd like.

Actually amazed the extents people would go just to get play hours on Steam or just to appear online. You're in school. You should be focusing on actually studying instead of obsessing over a number no one cares about. If you're so obsessed over a game time, you might as well run an idler whenever you're on Blender and reply to messages through Steam mobile. You achieve the same effect.

Schools usually block Steam and VPN services so good luck trying to get around that.

I don’t particularly like being lied to having to look up information and then to find out you don’t actually want to do what you say

Not to mention that messing with a school network could lead to severe punishment, expulsion or even legal issues.

I just found a way to do so, i'll try it after tommorow.
basically i'll share my phone data via USB (cause they are not equipped with wifi adapter) and connect that way

Which technically does not use the school network and will eat up your mobile data.

i just hope that they dont have any more security that can ruin my plan, but anyways i did a test, i played warframe on my pc using my mobile phone data , it took about 0.10Gb (100mb) in 1h, i got 50gb per month so i guess its ok.
