How to stop "Controller remapper detected"

I use Ds4Windows to play with my ds4. I love it for many features, primarily to see its battery life. However, whenever I try to play a steam game I always first have to click through the pop-up of "controller remapper detected" which is warning me of a possible conflict between my remapper and steams. How do I disable this pop-up?

You have to disable PS4 support if you're using DS4Windows. Not sure if DS4windows is still borrowing from XBOX drivers, but if it still happens disable xbox aswell.

Go to your controller settings in BP, and toggle one or both unchecked.


If you do this, it will stop bothering you about conflicts.

All of the boxes in those settings are already unchecked. No combination that I have found has worked yet.

Open DS4 > Settings > Tick the box > Hide DS4 controller, save to your profile.

Open Steam > BP > Controller settings > Check that ALL boxes are unticked. Most importantly you should see the message no controller detected (which is been overridden by DS4).

Close BP. Exit Steam. Restart Steam.

You should no longer see the message controller remapper detected.

Hiding ds4 controller does indeed solve my issue, however it creates a new one for Uplay. Fortunately these days I don't use the controller on anything Uplay related so I will happily settle for your solution. Thank you very much!

Do not have this issue when using uplay. I will look at why I do not.
