Gamepad Vibration Not working

I have Generic Gamepad and it had vibration first but suddenly its gone. I have checked in-game settings and reinstalled vibration driver and also checked in "Set up USB game controllers", it vibrates there but not in steam.
First, the gamepad always showed as Generic but after a steam update .. its shown as PS3 Controller and I believe vibration might have stopped after it.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me
