Screen tearing in steam games
I have a problem with screen tearing for last 2 weeks only in steam games (at least in PUBG, dota 2, witcher 3, gta 5 ). In Origin games (BF1, FIFA 17, star wars battlefront 1) i have no problem - everything smooth and fine. I tried the last 14 nvidia drivers (ofc using DDU). I tried change the cable (dp-hdmi) and monitor. I tried to reinstall steam. I also checked the games on two laptops with different OS. I transfer games from HDD to SSD. I changed the game settings, screen resolution. None of this helped me. At the moment I am waiting for answers from Steam support and pubg support. Nvidia support couldn't help.

Only on PUBG Test server i didn't have this problem. I also tried the Nvidia fast sync - better, but not like a month ago, for example.
PC specs: i7 6700k, gtx 1080ti, 16Gb RAM, Win 10. Monitor Dell u3415w (3440x1440 60Hz)
Please, guys. Any tips except vsync.

V-Sync or FPS limiter if the game offers such a thing.

Run Borderless with Vsync on and this won't be an issue. I don't get any sort of lag on my mouse when doing it this way. Alt tab is much faster as well.

The only other way is to buy a better monitor with higher refresh rate.

Screen tearing happens when the FPS exceed the monitors refresh rate and the monitor is unable to keep up. You can't just magically fix it and keep the same FPS. Vsync or FPS limit. But I think Vsync will be the better option as it's easier to turn on.

vsync is not a solution of the problem + input lag. This issue on any fps ( 60, 70, 100, 120...)

vsync adds input lag. I have this PC for 3 years, and I see it for the first time. In Origin games everything fine.

Run Borderless window mode in fullscreen mode with Vsync and this isn't an issue.

I know when input lag appears because I've had in it like two or three games where it was obvious when Vsync was on. Every other game did not have this issue.

Then input lag will be my new problem. I play only in pubg, so it's matter. But thx
