Program files(x86)
Ok I'm still a bit new to steam so I apologize if this question sounds absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. How do I get Program files(x86) to go to a different hard drive where I also have my steam games at?

You don't. And don't attempt to do it with registry tweaks because doing so will break Windows and cause all sort of weird issues.

When installing applications the installer should ask you where you would like to install the application to, change the installation target there.

Steam allows you to make new Steam game library folders on other drives in the Steam settings under the download tab, add another Steam game installation folder on other driver there. Then when installing a Steam game select the drive you wish to install it to.

Steam can access games on multiple drives. I have Steam in C in the default programfiles install path along with a library folder D:\Games\Steam and E:\Games\Steam

Just to add a new Library folder
Steam>Settings>Downloads

Add new folder or make a folder default here. All new game downloads will always download to the default folder.

If you have a game on a drive and want it on another use the move install folder option.

The game and all of it's files will be installed in the location you told it to.

The only things it might not save on the 2nd drive are your save games and game configuration files.

When installing Steam, simply specify the installation path during install instead of clicking through.
Program Files (x86) is just the default folder for 32-bit applications (like Steam Client Bootstrapper) on 64-bit Windows.
