Trading window broken - The original trader gets a black screen
Now, I've had this problem for a while, and I'm not sure how it happened, but steam trading is messed up. Now, I did some digging, and found some old threads saying my account had been compromised. I followed ALL the steps, and it didn't fix it. There was something else involving a google dsp (is that right?) but i wasn't sure how to do it. if i could get some help that would make my day. Note: I'm mainly doing this for CS GO, which may have been where i compromised it, if it is compromised. 2nd note: the scan found no issues

If your account was compromised, you'd need to revoke the API key.

Did you do this, as it is very important?

There are other explanations for a black-screen when trading.

1) A local cache issue - clearing Steam's web cache should resolve this.

2) Malware & other programs that interfere with Steam.

3) If you're on a web browser, a plugin could be causing the said issue.

My trade screen is black for months now, nothing to do with account being compromised. I guess it is a bug related to the new chat that they still refuse to fix already. Use trade offers instead.

i tried all of these, and none seemed to work. My steam trading never actually has worked, so I'm just thinking Cj is right. trade offers do work and that is Ok for me. thanks though.

This still is really broken. I get a black screen that I can't even resize. It appears dead center. I can see the trade window in the background with all my items that I can't get to the foreground. It's so dumb.
