Hello . Ive been having a problem on this account . I want to play competitive with my friends but i cant send friend invite , so i talked to them on discord and ask them to do a lobby for nearby players ( we live in same city) with the hope that we could find eachother cause it worked on other accounts , but on this one doesnt seem to work , why ?

"Games Details" in your profile privacy setting needs to be "Friends Only" for it to show to your friends or "Public" for everyone to see.

If it set to private, there is a bug that will not let you invite anyone. It was supposed to be looked into back in April but... "ValveTime"

Try and add eachother via the game code option, if you navigate to "Friend requests" On the right of the main menu. You will see a person with a plus sign next to it. After that click on the person with the plus, then click the Copy your code option. You can then send your friend your Friend code on discord, Then they just have to follow the same steps but instead of copying their friend code, they paste your code where it says, "Enter friend code". After they have entered the code, they can press the tick symbol next to where the code was typed, and they should be able to send you a friend request. Hope this helps

When i add his code , he says that nothing appears . Same for me , when he tries to put my code there . We cant add eachother probably because we dont have prime accounts? Idk...
