Help how do I fix my steam guard

I’m on Howl. GG to trade my Rust skins but it says I have to fix something in my steam guard so I can’t trade any skins but it’s telling me that I don’t have a seven day wait time

Well, that means that now you need a seven-day wait time.

When you want to start trading on steam you have to have steam auth. It is around 14 days for most players maybe you read it as you dont have to wait 7 more days instead it might say 7 more days.

These are the requirements in order to trade.
- Account need to be unlimited. <--- Your account is unlimited.

- Steam guard need to be enabled for 14 days. If you disable Steam guard, you reset the number days that Steam guard was enable, going back to 0, and will count when enable again.

That about it.

You can reduce the cooldown of 14 days to 7 days, that only if you enable Steam mobile guard.


Also for trading, there trade holds, it tells you how long it be on hold, before trade complete, there is bypass to trade hold, and that is using Steam mobile guard app, if trading between two parties, both need the app to bypass holds.

If trading with someone you either open trade with that person if friends, or sent them a trade offer.
