Why can't I just contact steam directly and prove that I added funds myself this is so lame.

Because it's automated. They aren't interested in investigating thousands of requests like yours every day. The market page should tell you how to verify.

in order to have market available adding funds isn't enough.

you need to add 5USD worth to your steam, regardless of your currency on the account. 5USD could be 50, 5000, or something else in your own currency. after funding your steam account you need to wait 7 days until you have access to the market.

having steam guard enabled two weeks prior to using the market is also recommended because you'll have problems trading otherwise

Exactly what are you seeing when you can't use it?

Because that's exactly what a scammer would say. Either verify the card or wait it out.

OP is most likely the new owner of the Steam Account being used in this thread.

Steam Account level is 84.

got 54 games or more.

played CS:GO for 514 hours in total.

His post history also shows that this is the only post and thread me makes.

Very Obvious this Steam Account already spent more than USD $5.

Please stop slandering users requiring help in every thread.

The user probably funded their wallet through an unverified source meaning they receive a small market restriction. Your ludicrous scrutiny and conduct towards other users is nothing short of disgraceful in some threads. This is about the 6th one I've seen where you've accused them of not being the owner based on their post history.

this is not slander.

do you know that the Steam Account got this game

1) Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege

and you need to spend more than USD $5 just to get the game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OP got locked out of the Steam Market is due to these reason(s)

i) he added a new Credit Card or Debit Card to the Steam Account he is using.

or

ii) he go add a Digital Gift Card to his Steam Wallet Funds.

he is not locked out due to "limited user account" problem.

Newly Added Payment Method

Items that are purchased with trusted payment methods may or may not have a cooldown before they can be traded or used in the Community Market. This cooldown period varies and is game dependent. A payment method that has been verified using Steam's card ownership verification tool is considered trusted. Verify your credit card here and gain access to the Community Market. Verification amounts are sent to your bank in the currency that appears in your Steam store. If your bank converts the charges into your local currency, please contact them for the pre-converted amounts.

Unverified payment methods will be subject to a 3 day waiting period before purchases can be made on the Community Market.

Will accepting a digital gift card from my friend restrict me from using the market?

In the rare event that a market restriction will be applied to your account upon accepting a digital gift card we'll display a clear warning before accepting to avoid any surprises. If avoiding the restriction is important to you, you may wait until after the day mentioned in the warning before accepting the gift. If no such message is displayed, then no restriction will apply when accepting.

I didn't say it was a limited user account problem - I said the user funded their wallet through an unverified source. You seem to accuse everyone of either having stolen or bough accounts based on their post history or Steam level.

Shameful conduct really,

This is funny I have my card verified but it is still locking me out, I also received a text message confirming the funds were added by myself. But in fact it was me adding the funds. :)

It locked me out for 4 days which isn't a huge deal but it is enough to be annoying. I was just seeing if there was a way this won't happen if I add funds to my account. I go to the verify screen for unverified cards and it says there are no cards that need to be verified. This confused me a little bit...

Have you actually done the verification process? https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4985-7118-B4FC-EAEC

No cards will show in the verify screen if you haven't initiated the process yourself because Steam is not psychic and it does not do this process for the user itself.
