Hacker removed all my friends, can I get steam to reverse this

So I got my account hacked today, and one of the things the hacker did was block all communication with and remove all my friends. I managed to secure my account but unfortunately after I unblocked everyone I found out the hard way that I lost all my friends. I was wondering if it was at all possible to get steam to re-add all those friends or just undo any actions that were taken on my account?

Not via Steam unfortunately, they don't keep snapshots of your friends list

Open localconfig.vdf up with WordPad and CTRL+F to your friends. Find your friends.

Did that, it worked thank you, unfortunately there are limits on how many people I can add? So I'm going to have to do it in bursts

Yes. There is a cooldown for inviting friends that can be as little as 1 week or as long as 30 days. No one knows how long their cooldown is and the bad part is if you try to invite anyone when you are still on the cooldown, your cooldown resets. So, you either wait 30 days or get stuck in a cooldown loop until you wait out 30 days from the last invite sent out.

Oh, well that sucks, guess I'm waiting a whole month to add the rest of the people I suppose
