To second TheFamousPounder, the answer is no. The Steam Deck is a handheld x86 PC. The Nintendo Switch is an ARM CPU based system. The Switch is closer to your phone/tablet than it is a PC. People have modded their switches to run Android. But Steam games on PC don't run on phones or tablets.

Maybe in the future gaming PC's will run ARM CPUs and there will be some options. But for right now it's basically impossible.

The Switch is also five years old, even if it was technically possible it would be a pretty underpowered compared to the Steam Deck.

That's not possible, since the switch is an arm based machine with Nvidia hardware, while the steamdeck has a normal x86_64 cpu.
There is Linux on Arm, but gaming on arm is a completely different story

The closest I've gotten to making a "SwitchDeck" is that I installed Ubuntu, then installed box86/64 and wine (I think wine is not necessary), and then with that I installed Steam. Then I open Steam, activate the Big picture and that's it :) I've been testing it for a few days and it's not perfect, mostly because the switch has to convert Steam commands from x86 to ARM, I have tried games such as Half Life and Portal that work very well.
If you have a modifiable switch at home, it's something you might want to try if you like tinkering, otherwise I don't recommend it since there are few games that work, but you can and Now I play Portal on the switch and sometimes Half Life
