Halo MCC loading times FIX ENG/FR

Hi everyone,

I've been struggling a lot with loading times in Halo : The masterchief collection.
From starting or shutting down the game to transitions between missions, loading times were stupidly long...

The fix that came mostly was "put files on your ssd", the game being so huge, can't afford to do that. So my game files are on a additional HDD, that was the problem.

I simply needed to allow exchange file size on my HDD.

GO to Settings / Performance / Advance / Change / Uncheck automatic gestion and chose the drive that host your game files. Then check "size managed by system" for that drive and type define.

Apply and reboot.

That fixed the problem for me, hope it provides any help, it may work for other game with similar issues ! :)

J'ai galéré pendant deux jours avec les temps de chargement dans Halo : MCC, toutes les transitions et ouvertures/fermetures du jeux prenaient entre 1 à 5 minutes.

Le fix qui revenait le plus souvent était "met tes fichiers sur SSD", impossible pour moi vu la taille du jeu. Mes fichiers sont donc sur un HDD additionnel, d'ou venait le problème.

Il suffit d'allouer de l'espace au fichiers d'échange du disque. (vu que le HDD n'est pas un disque système, le système ne lui alloue pas de fichier d'échange)

Aller à Paramètres / Performance / avancé / modifier / choisir le disque concerné / cocher "taille gérée par le système" pour le disque concerné / Définir

Appliquer puis reboot votre ordinateur.

Ça a marché pour moi, plus aucun temps de chargement, peut être que cela peut résoudre d'autres problèmes similaires sur d'autres jeux, j'espère que ça vous aidera ! :)

This isn't correct sub forum for this, if wanting to share things, or wanting to discuss about things for a game specifically, it's better posting in game forum where there are ACTUAL people that plays the game will see it when they view the game sub forum.

Since this is a post about a guide, it's better off making a guide in the game own forums, as again this help, and tips sub forum is generally for Steam overall issues.
