Problems with The Simpsons Hit & Run
I know that the simpsons hit and run is not a steam game, but it is the best forum I know to solve problems with games, what happens to me is the following...

I have problems with the audio of this game, And it is that the sound effects are not heard, I mean sounds like: Walking, Driving, Hitting, Sound effects in the pause menu, The coins that are all over the map ( Those who know this game will understand me better) Etc.

My sound card is up to date and all the drivers are installed, I have Windows 11 and this is the first time something like this has happened to me, please, if you think you can help me, comment on what you think the solution may be, and thank you.

please dont spam multiple forums and make multiple threads, that includes making them in multiple languages

the best place to ask for help with a game is in that games forum, if it doesnt have a game forum on steam, then the Off Topic forum is best.

It is a 19 year old port of an Xbox game. So I'm not surprised there's issues. You're gonna have to keep hunting for solutions, somewhere someone may have dealt with this. But chances are fairly low that any random forum is going to have that person.

Game runs on DirectX 8 and doesn't support widescreen. There are mods out there to enable widescreen.
